The use of automation, especially automated liquid handling platforms, reduces experimental time and errors. These platforms enable large experiments and big datasets to be completed without human intervention, allowing researchers to focus on planning and data analysis. They handle sensitive and critical samples efficiently and safely, even those prone to degradation. With proper expertise, many devices, especially open-source ones, can be adapted for unconventional tasks, enhancing research capabilities. LHDs can be further expanded to explore various fields, such as developing new biomedical devices, reducing waste during experiments and large-scale applications, and maximizing green technology analysis.
